More Open Access Publishing Opportunities

Thanks to a transformative agreement between Rutgers University Libraries and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press, there are now no Article Processing Charges (APCs) to publish open access articles in Genes & Development; Genome Research; RNA; Learning & Memory; and Molecular Case Studies. (The corresponding author must be a Rutgers affiliate.)

"Every Death from Preventable Disease in the Year 1872"

RUL History of Medicine librarian Bob Vietrogoski recently presented "Mapping 'Every Death from Preventable Disease' in Newark: Dr. Edgar Holden's Mortality and Sanitary Record of Newark, N.J. [from 1859 to 1879]" at the New York Academy of Medicine's 14th Annual History Night. Click here for the video and click here to see a digital version in RUCore of Dr. Holden's fascinating 1880 book and its colorful charts and maps.
