Please remember to update your secret questions and answers when you change or reset your password.
Be aware that after changing your password, you will need to make sure it is updated in any locations it may be saved. This may include:
- Your web browser. (You can learn how to view and edit your passwords for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on their respective help pages.)
- Your wireless settings. (You can learn how to manage wireless networks for Chromebooks, macOS and Windows on their respective help pages.)
- Your password manager app. (Please look in your specific password manager app for documentation on updating a saved password.)
- Locally installed applications that use your NetID and password login, for example, Microsoft Office, Webex, and Zoom.
- If you are not prompted to log in with your new password and are unable to access the application, please log out and log back in. For most applications, this is done by selecting your profile picture or the settings icon and choosing Sign Out. From any Microsoft Office application, you can select File > Account > Sign Out. After signing out, you will see the option to Sign In in the same locations.
