2021 Culture Fest Registration

Culture Fest is our annual event highlighting diverse communities at Rutgers. We welcome our student organizations and campus partners to offer presentations and demos to our new and returning student communities!

This year our event format will include tabling, interactive demonstrations (music, art, dance, etc), and short presentations (think engaging the stage and audience or even TedTalk style).

2 WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

-TABLING
Tables will be located along Voorhees Mall. We ask you to bring any information, fliers, brochures, etc for our students in attendance.
Each registered group will get one 6-8 ft table and two chairs. Student organizations will be grouped together by category. Please bring your own table cloth if needed. Unfortunately, we CANNOT guarantee access to outlets when tabling.

-DEMONSTRATIONS
This is your chance to show off what you do!
Demonstrations could be things like: showing the crowd basic dance steps; inviting people to play a game that reflects your culture, showing how you make a specific art or craft (e.g. henna, paper cutting, calligraphy, beading, weaving, etc), or something else! Participants will need to bring their own supplies.
Demonstrations can be up to 10 minutes in length. Demonstration time slots are limited. Please bring the supplies you will need for your demonstration. Demonstrations will take place on Main Stage at Voorhees or in the grassy area at Voorhees. Sound will be available.
