Sharing dashboards via link

Use the link provided in the Share menu to ensure the Tableau menu selections are available to the recipient.

1.  Click Share.
   
   
   
   
2.  Click Copy Link.
   
   
   
   
3.  The system will confirm that the link was copied to the clipboard. Paste the link to the desired location. 
   
   

 

Sharing dashboards via email

If a recipient has permissions to view the item, it may be shared in a system-generated email.

1.  Click Share. Begin typing the recipient’s name and select it from the drop-down. 
   
   
   
   
2.  Click Share.
   
   
   
   
3.  A system-generated email provides the recipient with a preview image and a link.
