Why this program is important
Honoring former assembly member Ronald S. Dancer—an incomparable horseman, legislator, colleague, and friend of the equine industry—the Equine Science Center has announced the Ronald S. Dancer Memorial Scholarship in recognition of his steadfast commitment to the equine community, education, and giving back to those in need. As Rutgers strives to create a Beloved Community, a community in which all students are supported on their path to Academic Excellence, the Equine Science Center also aims to support those students who have gone above and beyond. Students who have given their time to a service project or provided leadership during their high-school or college career should be recognized for giving back to their community. Help us celebrate their accomplishments by helping us to fund this scholarship.

This scholarship will support undergraduate students majoring in Animal Sciences with an equine emphasis, who have dedicated their time through service and leadership. Your gift will provide students with the resources they need for success at Rutgers University. It may cover things like tuition, housing, books, or school fees, bringing the financial peace of mind as they continue their studies at Rutgers.
