National Archives Foundation

A'Lelia Bundles is the former president and chairman of the board of the National Archives Foundation, which works to increase public awareness of the National Archives, inspire a deeper appreciation of our country’s heritage, and encourage citizen engagement in our democracy. Prior to the Foundation, Bundles was a TV news executive and producer at NBC News and ABC News, where she was Washington deputy bureau chief. She currently serves as president of the Madam Walker/A'Lelia Walker Family Archives. Bundles has a B.A. from Harvard College and Radcliffe College, and M.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
