2023 New Jersey Equine Industry Summit
This year – on Thursday, March 16, 2023 – the Equine Science Center will reprise this important educational gathering, presenting the 2023 New Jersey Equine Industry Summit. The summit is open to all equine professionals, veterinarians, educators, owners, and enthusiasts for this FREE all-day event! Lunch will be provided for all attendees, but please remember to register so that we have an accurate headcount.
The conference will feature a keynote by Dr. Jill Stowe, professor and director of undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky, on the “Economic Analysis Of Equine Operations: Reducing Costs For Horse and Horse Farm Owners.”
Breakout sessions will focus on horse health, the future of racing, land use policy, environmental stewardship, the integrity of equestrian sport, and industry sustainability by engaging youth in equine activities and leadership roles. A just-completed needs assessment survey of industry participants will be a special feature of the program.
